Our nursery provides a warm, safe environment for your baby. It’s well-resourced with caring and gentle educators who develop nurturing relationships with your baby. We recognise the importance of maintaining your home routine to our best ability to ensure your baby’s daily transition into our care is always as smooth as possible.

With a 1:4 ratio, it allows for our wonderful educators to help transition your child in the centre with minimal stress. Daily routine sheets document your child’s day and are always available to view plus staffing is arranged so there should always be at least one educator from the room to discuss any issues and talk about their day with you.

During this first year of your baby’s life, they are developing a picture of themselves based on the experiences they have and the relationships they create. Our program supports your baby’s growth and development by offering lots of different activities so they can engage in essential sensory exploration to enhance their cognitive and motor skills. We do things like playing with soft toys, feeling different textures, arts and crafts, tummy time, mirror play, listening to music, story time, outdoor play and food experiences.

2 years – 3 years

Our toddler room caters for 15 children aged from 2-3 years, with a 1:5 ratio. In our Toddler Program we aim to provide a comfortable and safe environment that promotes each child’s growth and development with a focus on their individual interests and learning.

It might look like just child’s play, but toddlers are hard at work learning important physical skills as they gain muscle control, balance, and coordination. Each new skill lets them progress to the next one, building on a foundation that leads to more complicated physical tasks, such as jumping rope, kicking a ball on the run, or summersaulting.

Toddlers always want to do more, which can motivate them to keep trying until they master a new skill, no matter what it takes.

As our toddlers grow they seek out and accept new challenges, make new discoveries and celebrate their own efforts and achievements as well of those around them. Our educators ensure that all children experience pride in their attempts and achievements. They challenge and support children to engage in and persevere at tasks and play.

3 years – 4 years

Our inquisitive and busy group of Kindy children range in age from 3 – 4 years, with a 1:11 ratio.

Play is the method through which children learn, develop and acquire skills and knowledge. Our educators provide many and varied opportunities to engage in play in all of its forms with freedom to explore and experiment which ensures that your child has the opportunity to develop to their full potential in all areas.

Your child will become more independent and will like to explore their surroundings. They will interact more with adults and children, and this is a time when they will begin to shape their personality and ways of thinking.

Our educators model communication strategies to support children to initiate interactions and join in play and social experiences in ways that sustain positive relationships with other children. Learning environments are organised in ways that promote small group interactions and play experiences.

4 years – 5 years

Our team of caring and qualified educators offers a full preschool program that helps your child develop their social, intellectual, creative and emotional skills. We aim to give your child the confidence and high self-esteem they need to prepare them perfectly for big school.

Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, we support children to develop their skills and knowledge in areas such as early literacy, mathematics, science, and social skills. Our children are encouraged to be independent decision makers whilst also developing their skills in co-operation and collaboration with their educators and peers.

As children gain knowledge they also increase their own self-esteem and feel confident about being active citizens of their community.  We talk about appropriate social behaviour through daily conversations with the children and as educators we model good practices for them to observe.

We encourage children to express themselves through mediums that they love and are comfortable with whilst always offering access to new mediums to explore.  We respect that some children express their creativity through mediums such as painting and drawing and others through construction or dramatic play.
